Sergeant Rush has been with the Scotia Police Department for 24 years. 20 years as a Youth Aid Officer, 8 years as a former K-9 Officer (K-9 Mazar), 5 years Police Sergeant, 13 years as an investigator, 5 years in charge of the investigative unit. He has attended many classes and seminars on sexual crimes, homicides, etc. He is certified as an Evidence Tech and an arson investigator. Before coming to the Scotia Police Department he worked as a security manager and polygraphist (Lie Detector). Received A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Schenectady County Community College. Hobbies include woodcarving, golf and sailing. |
